With a combination of the grungy tones of 90s Seattle, post-punk indie music from the north of England, classic rock of the 70s and the scale of fine art with Shakespeare esque lyricism. Tina Bowels will bless your ears with a uniquely soulful voice, Charlie Battersby will light up the stage with his electric feel of the guitar, Gabriella Mcferran has the crowd boogying with her groovy bass lines and Reef Breheny-Nash makes the ladies swoon as he brings the house down behind the drums. The Bends are the start of the modern day musical renaissance emerging in Greater Manchester!

We are a 4 piece tribute to the music of The Clash, based in East Lancashire with an aim to recreate the energy and passion of their live show and back-catalogue which is strewn with hits and classic songs which everyone knows. Suited to big stage or sweaty small venues the mix of their original songs, and takes on other peoples covers has people singing and dancing. From Punk to Reaggae, Political songs to Love songs, and Rebellion to Hope. Some say they were "The Only Band That Mattered", what we know is everyone loves the Clash and we enjoy playing their songs.
