We are not ashamed to say that our festival would not be what it is today without the help of all the volunteers and sponsors who make the smooth running of the day possible. If you would like to work for us, please get in touch. All basic positions are unpaid, however you will receive complimentary refreshments, free passes to the event itself and/or the benefit of our sponsorship package as appropriate. Shift times will be agreed prior to the event.

Stall holders

We have now added a small market to the event and would like to hear from local traders or small businesses who may want to hold a stall. See below for further information.

We also welcome stall applications from Bury based community organisations. Community stalls are FREE in return for the organisation providing us with 2 Volunteers who are willing to work a 4 hour basic steward shift assisting the general public.

Stage Managers

Based at one of our stages

Ensure timely running of the venue or outdoor stage

No responsibility for the premises is involved, just the management of their bands and schedule

Senior Marshall

6 hour shift

Roaming role overseeing the wellbeing of Marshalls

Ensure all indoor venues are manned

Address any issues arising

Stage Stewards (6 hours)

Based at our outdoor stages at either the stage entrance, in front of the stage or at the backstage area.

Ensure crowd safety and control access to the stage

Previous experience in a similar role needed.

Must be able to stand for long periods
