2008

Bury Pride – Celebrating LGBT+ people in Bury’s richly diverse community

2009

Glaston-Bury expanded to 3 venues and raised £4,495

2010

Glaston-Bury raised over £10,000 with 7 venues involved and was awarded The Tower FM Contribution to Charity Award 2010

2011

Now attracting the likes of Tom Hingley (The Inspiral Carpets), Together (Hardcore Uproar) and Dave Sharpe (The Alarm), Glaston-Bury raised over £12,000. By the end of Glaston-Bury 2015, over £75,000 had been raised for Bury Hospice.

2016

2016 saw a further donation of £20,000 made to Bury Hospice. Smaller amounts were also donated to recognize the important work of other deserving organisations from the Bury area including: Bleakholt Animal Sanctuary, Bury Blind Society and Greenmount Wild Bird Sanctuary.

2017

2017 was Glaston-Bury’s tenth year which saw over 120 bands performing at 13 venues across Bury town centre. In addition to Bury Hospice, the festival also supported The Sophie Lancaster Foundation. Following the 2017 event, the total raised in support of our charities rose to over £127,000

2018

Added a further £16,000 to the total which brings our donation total over the £140k mark!

2019

2019 saw the introduction of additional venues and our donation to The Lee Rigby Foundation. Our donation total reached just over £185,000. We also added an official “Safe Area” to the event.

2020

2020 was the year of huge changes as we responded to national lockdown byb holding a virtual event which raised over £5000 for Bury hospice taking our donation total to over £190,000

2021

2021 saw the introduction of our fourth outdoor stage and the official introduction of our traders area. 200 acts performed live and we raised £16,000 bringing our overall donation over the £200,000 mark
