About the Festival

tICKETS

This is a family-friendly event. Children are welcome to attend but under 16's must be accompanied by an adult. The event begins at midday and wristbands are available on the day from the ticket office on Castle Street near The Castle Armoury. The wristbands allow entry to ALL Glaston-Bury venues and are just £7.50 for adults/over 13's and £5 for children aged 5-13. Under 5's go FREE! Most stages are accessible to wheelchairs and have disabled toilet facilities. Please get in touch if you need us to provide further information. Please note that the venues DO have the right to refuse admission and that if you are unsure about their accessibility or whether children can be admitted at all times, it is best that you contact them directly to discuss the matter before you purchase a wristband.

Supporting  Our Town, Our Hospice and Our Bands...

We held our first event in Bury's Blind Tiger bar back in 2007 to raise funds to support our local hospice. Thanks to the continued support of our sponsors, performers and everyone who attends the festival, we are now in our eleventh year and have raised over £155,000 in support of Bury Hospice and other local causes.
Last year, over 120 bands played across 13 venues in Bury town centre. Every year we make our family-friendly event better than before and 2020 is to be no exception.

Proudly Supporting Bury Hospice

Bury Hospice (registered charity number 1136843) delivers very special nursing and medical care to local men and women who are living with a life-threatening or terminal illness whilst supporting their families and carers.  Care is provided by in-patient medical and respite facilities, day hospice care including creative therapy, out-patient clinics offering dietetic advice, physiotherapy, palliative care and symptom control and a new 'Hospice at Home' service.
It's services also include: complementary therapy services, stress management and relaxation therapy sessions, home assessment visits, bereavement support and visitor support services and accommodation.
