12:15 - Encôr Choir
1) One of the only choirs started during the lockdown. From singing wearing face covering in the open air to weekly rehearsals of 60 members, the choir is a community of support.
2) We actively target social isolation and sing for our wellbeing. 3) More than just a choir we are a social network demonstrating support to each other outside of rehearsals. |
13:05 - Corah
14:05 - The Sprats
We’re a fresh rock n roll band, all about having and giving a good time. From doing our first gig in 2022, we have started treading the circuit of venues in Manchester, and are “gaining a reputation on the live-scene as of late”. Last year we won battle of the bands and got to play at Rochdale Feel Good Fest, opening the main stage for The Fratellis and other great acts. Coming of that we’ve made some connections with local talent and promoters. One of them being the DJ Dave Sweetmore who recently introduced us on Mancunia TV as “one of the best upcoming rock bands in Manchester”.

15:05 - Viva Morrissey
Returning to Glaston-BURY Viva Morrissey are the world’s only tribute to the present-day Morrissey.
Formed in the summer of 2007, and based in the Holy City of Manchester, Morrissey’s birthplace, and home of his former band The Smiths, Viva Morrissey are highly regarded for the authenticity and accuracy that they bring to their presentation. Viva Morrissey’s performances are based on Morrissey’s present-day solo shows, which makes their live shows markedly different from those of tributes to The Smiths. The Viva Morrissey live set includes many of the classic Smiths songs, alongside some of Morrissey’s best known and most loved solo material. Having been a successful recording artist for over 30 years, Morrissey is rightly regarded as a legendary figure in the music industry, as well as a true cultural icon, therefore a tribute to his entire career (so far) was long overdue. |

Aziz Ibrahim & Inder Goldfinger
1998 saw the remarkable return of Ian Brown following the demise of The Stone Roses. Aziz Ibrahim, who had replaced John Squire as the Roses’ guitarist, co-wrote such Ian Brown classics as ‘Corpses’, and ‘My Star’ and Inder Goldfinger was a regular live percussionist on Ian Brown’s numerous tours. Two of the North West’s most acclaimed musicians join forces again as Monkey Business to celebrate their contribution to the songs of Stone Roses singer Ian Brown. |
